The Advanced Training Course on Pharmaceutical Intellectual Property Practice (the first session) was successfully held at the Beijing Yiling Building on March 29-30, 2024, organized by Beijing Intellectual Property Institute and Intellectual Property Summit. The participants in this advanced training course on pharmaceutical intellectual property practice include R&D personnel, IP managers, and professionals in the legal practice field.

Dr. Richard Liu, the partner of Saelink Law, was invited to give a lecture at the Advanced Training Course, exchanging professional experiences with participants.

Dr. Richard Liu focused on the practical issues of patent infringement disputes for drugs, introducing typical cases of the Supreme People's Court and CNIPA, as well as his own practice experience, such as the practice of drug patent linkage cases including filing, trial and registration errors, the practice of special issues related to combined drug use, the practice of rights protection and application for hanging on the network in the field of pharmaceutical centralized procurement, and the discussion of common problems in patent infringement cases such as evidence collection, new product identification, numerical feature equivalence and behavior preservation.
